In a generic Limited format, every card above would be quite reasonable to have in your deck. Each of these cards fits the bill of "good early, relevant late" that you'll always see me harp on here.
Run Away Together
We've seen similar effects to this in many early magic sets, in the form of Peel from Reality and Aether Trade Winds. This card is functionally identical to Peel from Reality for Limited purposes, so it'll play the same way. Generally you'll try to set it up so that you can save your creature from a removal spell or reuse an enter the battlefield effect, while bouncing your opponents creature as well to gain some time. This can be an aggressive card at points, but generally speaking skews defensively.
Grade: 3/5
Wishful Merfolk
While reminiscent of M20's Moat Piranhas, this card trades a toughness for the ability to attack later in the game, or even early on if you have mana lying around. It remains to be seen if they'll be any sort of tribal component in this set, so it's tough to rate the Merfolk/Human type change as anything other than flavor text. This card will not scale well in multiples, as the cheap activation cost adds up quickly if you're ever trying to attack, but if you look to play a very defensive game, this is a nearly ideal 2 drop.
Grade: 2.5/5
Wishing Well
On its surface, this card is an over costed Tamiyo's Epiphany that's not as easy to splash. In it's favor, however, we have a card that will heavily improve your range of playable hands, as any hand with an Island and a Wishing Well should have no problem finding what it needs to function. Getting to pay for this card in installments really sells me on it, as in the vast majority of games you'll have some space to cast it at a low cost to your curve. Any time you cast this on turn 1, for example, you generally wouldn't have spent your mana anyways and you even get to Scry 2 in the process. With the spoiling of Food Tokens as (2) Sacrifice: Gain 3 Life, this format is not looking fast, and I expect Wishing Well to be a major player in Throne of Eldraine Limited
Grade 3/5
I plan to do a full set review once the full spoiler is out, but as I don't see anyone else doing it I'm going to try reviewing cards on the fly during spoiler season. Expect my grades to skew positive or very negative, as I'm cherry-picking interesting cards and cards that interest me are likely to be good ones.
Until next time,
Kevin
